Phase Zero: Undermining America
The military services spend countless hours planning against a multitude of contingencies. They do so in phases. Phase 1 is the run-up to hostilities, Phase 2 includes preparations for onset of military action, Phase 3 is major combat, Phase 4 is post-conflict stabilization, and Phase 5 is the return to civilian control.

Leadership during crises matters. Only the president, sitting atop the federal bureaucracy can muster the resources necessary to mitigate the impact of the events beyond his control. While politicians talk, the president acts.
Looking back on 2019
Ross Perot and Hyrum Smith were giants among men. They both lived meaningful lives in service to their fellow man. Each has left a living legacy. We shall miss them.

A Journey in Discovery Learning
I’ve been in the fundraising/development business for twenty years now. Yes, I attended classes, read books and spent numerous hours seeking the counsel of others. Some stuff I learned worked, and others just didn’t fit my style. The bottom line is that asking others for money is a very personal endeavor.
